| Why support autism london ? |
| |
| autism london is a registered charity, which exists to provide information and support to parents, carers, individuals and organisations affected by autistic spectrum disorders in Greater London. As a voluntary organisation we are continually under pressure to obtain sufficient funds to run our services, and the money we receive from Supporters in subscription fees and donations are an important part of this |

As an autism london Supporter you will:
- Have access to trips/ events organised by autism london for our Supporters.
- Receive our regular bi-monthly newsletter the 'Bulletin', which will keep you informed by providing information of interest to people affected by ASD in the London area, and also includes updates about autism london services.

These currently include:
- A residential service for a group of adults in East London
- The Helpline, 0845 603 7954, which is open Monday to Friday from 11am to 2pm and offers support, information and advice on many issues.
- Factsheets on issues such as ‘Schools for autistic children’, ‘Obtaining a diagnosis’, ‘What is Asperger’s Syndrome?’ ‘What is autism?’ ‘Groups for Adults with Asperger’s’, ‘Specialist holidays etc…’
- The website which provides information about autism, autism london etc: www.autismlondon.org.uk.
- Regular support meetings for parents and carers in five London boroughs enabling people to make contact with others, obtain face-to-face advice, and sometimes to listen to speakers on a range of topics.
- Two monthly support/social groups for adults with Asperger’s syndrome, one of which is a women’s group.
- Advocacy/Outreach support service, available to residents within certain London boroughs.

solely on donations, we ask those who can afford it to make a small donation with their renewal. |

aid calculator to see how much more your donation will be

aid declaration when you return Supporter Subscription Form to us.. |
