Partners in Autism Network (PAN)

Autism London were given funding from the Department of Health to map out existing helplines and information services that support Autism services and service users. This was done in partnership with the National Autistic Society (NAS) and other stakeholders.

Partners in Autism Network, (PAN) brought together organisations that support people with Autism or Aspergers Syndrome through technologies such as helplines, website information, social forums, texting, and e-mails. We looked at the quantity and quality of existing services, and discussed how they might be developed and improved within health and social care provision, with a view to forming a national autism helpline partnership.

The draft report is presently (September 2010) with the Department of Health. We are currently working on a business proposal to secure further funding for the project, so that we can take it to its next development.
